4th Annual Hope Scholarship

Many of you may remember, in 2021, we had the pleasure of meeting a lovely student with plans of attending college following high school graduation. She excelled in school academics, worked full time, was involved in many extracurricular activities, and unfortunately, lost her father unexpectedly. She had plans to continue her education, however, it became more challenging, financially, due to this very unfortunate life event. Since our firm litigates cases involving personal injury and Social Security disability and sees firsthand how a devastating event can affect the family members who are called upon for support of their injured loved ones, we decided to start the Hope Scholarship.

Since 2021, The Law Office of Philips and Raaymakers has awarded $500 scholarships to students from various local high schools who have faced or are facing adversity or an obstacle in their lives and have overcome or are overcoming that obstacle or adversity. This year, our law office will again offer one $500 scholarship each to 4 students who also have found themselves facing some type of adversity or obstacle in their life.

Deadline: April 19, 2024
Award Type: Scholarship for high school or undergraduate student
Purpose: To offset the cost of post-secondary education or higher education
GPA Requirement: 3.0+ preferred
